At Blue Haven Poodles, we are committed to responsible pet ownership and understand that life can change unexpectedly. This policy explains the conditions under which returns and refunds are available for our poodle puppies. Please review this carefully before making a purchase.

Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We accept returns and offer refunds within 30 days of purchase under the following circumstances:

Change of Heart

If you find that you’re unable to care for your puppy within the first 30 days, you may return the puppy for a full refund.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Major life events such as relocation, health challenges, job loss, or other significant changes  may affect your ability to keep your puppy. Contact us to discuss your situation. Depending on the circumstances, a full or partial refund may be offered.

Return Requirements

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The puppy must be returned in good health, with no signs of neglect or mistreatment.

  • All original paperwork, including health/vaccination records, must be provided.

  • We reserve the right to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian once returned.

Non Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The return is requested after 30 days from the purchase date.

  • The puppy was purchased under a discounted or special price adoption fee.

  • Health issues arise after the 30-day period, unless covered under your health guarantee.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us within 30 days of purchase to explain your reason for the return.

  2. Provide any necessary documentation (e.g., proof of major life changes).

  3. Your request will be reviewed, and you will receive a response within 2 business days.

  4. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 business days after the puppy is received and evaluated.

Additional Recommendations

  • Schedule a vet visit within 7 days of bringing your puppy home.

  • Make sure you fully understand the care needs of poodles, especially grooming, training, and health maintenance.
